Family and Folk-Rock. Two words that at first glance may not seem directly connected, but are intrinsically linked in the world of Wildwit. Formed by two brothers (Rory and Wyatt Peterson), their father (John Peterson) and good friend (Mandy McDowell), the Foxborough, MA based band seeks to add color and intrigue to the sometimes pale and predictable world of modern music. The members, and the songs themselves, draw from such a varied background that it may leave one scratching their heads as to how they became a folk band, or whether to even class their debut album, Seed of a Sound, as entirely within the genre of folk/rock. Ranging from intense and as dramatic as an orchestra, to bright, happy and as catchy as a cold, Wildwit is music to heighten the senses and lift the spirit. Folk Rock and Family.
